Swatches of these beautiful berry super shock shadows IN “MUSE” and “STATIC” by Colourpop Cosmetics! These are 2 of the 3 shades I picked up from Colourpop a while ago, which you may see/have seen in my haul here.
I’ll be honest with you, though I LOVED the colours, initially I did not reach out for them much as I was apprehensive about being too far out of my comfort zone – neutral lover out here! However, when I did- boy did I regret not using the shades more often. They are GORGEOUS. So flattering on my medium complexion (For reference NC30-35/Nars Stromboli)
Perfect for the neutral lovers among us who want to experiment with daring colours without feeling crazy or too far out of our comfort zone- these are so wearable. I totally wore it for a regular day at the local park.
I definitely need to pick up some more super shock shadows as I have not come across anything like this formulation, it’s truly incredible. It’s not a cream, it’s not a gel, it’s not a powder…somehow it’s all three, and it’s CRAZY pigmented at that and the lasting powder is next to none since it sets like concrete…unlike your typical creme shadows which could…or eventually do crease. Have you got any? What are your favourite shades I’m totally willing to add more to my stash. I really want Colourpop to bring back the super shock bronzers I would grab that in a heart beat!
